Event Description: Join us at Vasa Park Resort for a special Pre-Midsommar Dance in partnership with the Skandia Folkdance Society as we celebrate Nordic tradition, music, and community ahead of our 100th Midsommar Festival.
Enjoy an evening of live music, dancing, and festive fellowship in our beautiful ballroom. This event is designed to be beginner-friendly, featuring easy mixers and simple folk dances with instruction throughout the evening—no experience or partner required.
Whether you’re an experienced dancer or trying Nordic folk dancing for the very first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience the joy and tradition of Midsommar dancing in a welcoming and fun environment.
Guests will enjoy light refreshments including coffee, tea, hot water, and a selection of cakes, cookies, and dessert treats.
Come dance, connect, and celebrate the spirit of Midsommar with us!

Event Description: Celebrate 100 years of Midsommar at Vasa Park! Maypole, Pony Rides, Bounce Houses, Axe Throwing, Food Trucks, & more on Lake Sammamish!
Join us on Sunday, June 28 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Vasa Park Resort with a full day of tradition, community, and unforgettable summer fun on the shores of Lake Sammamish. This once-in-a-century milestone brings together the best of our Nordic heritage and family-friendly festivities, making it the perfect event for all ages.
The day begins at 9:00 AM with our beloved Swedish pancake breakfast, a longtime Vasa tradition and guest favorite. Starting at 11:00 AM, enjoy a variety of food and drink trucks offering something for everyone, followed by the vibrant and joyful maypole wrapping ceremony at 12:00 PM. Throughout the afternoon, the park will be filled with entertainment and activities including bounce houses, axe throwing, the Dizzy Bus, face painting, pony rides, a balloon twister, and a Viking ship on display on the lake. Guests can also enjoy free Sea-Doo rides, classic games like egg toss and kids activities, Bingo, and more surprises throughout the day.
Whether you're here to celebrate tradition, enjoy the lakefront, or spend a memorable day with family and friends, this 100th anniversary celebration is not to be missed as we honor the past and look ahead to the next century at Vasa Park Resort.
All proceeds from Midsommar go towards Vasa Day Camp.
Illuminating Hope
4th of July Fundraiser

Event Description: The celebration of our community working together to fight childhood food insecurity is an amazing fireworks display for all to enjoy!
Please join The KLD Real Estate Group and the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank to support fundraising efforts for our youth nutrition programs, then celebrate with us from your favorite vantage point for the fireworks display on July 4.
Vasa Day Camp
Camp Dates: July 27th - July 31st 2026 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily
Ages 6-12 (Campers) | Ages 13-18 (Counselor in Training & Counselors)
Join us for a week of Nordic-inspired adventure at Vasa Day Camp! Campers will enjoy swimming, crafts, folk dancing, drama, language games, and more—all in the heart of nature. With trained counselors, CITs, and adult instructors, your child will stay active, make friends, and connect with culture and community. Daily snacks and a camp T-shirt are included.
🚨 Space is limited to 50 campers—register by June 30!
Cost: $250 per camper ($25 Off if registered before June 1st)
Nordic Carvefest

Event Description: Join us at Vasa Park Resort for Nordic Carvefest 2026, a festive fall tradition filled with pumpkins, food, costumes, and family fun. Bring your own pumpkin and enjoy an afternoon of carving, community, and Halloween spirit in a beautiful lakeside setting.
We’ll have pumpkin carving, a community potluck, music, family-friendly Halloween movies, and fun activities for all ages—including a bounce house for the kids. Costumes are strongly encouraged, so come ready to celebrate in style.
Weather permitting, Nordic Carvefest will be held outdoors by the lake. In the event of rain or unfavorable weather, festivities will move indoors to our ballroom.
Whether you come for the pumpkins, the food, or the festive atmosphere, Nordic Carvefest is the perfect way to celebrate the season with family and friends.

Valborg 2026

Event Description:
Join us at Vasa Park Resort on May 3rd at 4pm as we come together to celebrate our cherished Nordic tradition. Valborg, marks the transition from the long, dark winter into the promise of spring. In Sweden and across the Nordic countries, Valborg is a celebration for all ages, filled with traditional songs, festive outdoor activities, food, and community spirit.
We’ll have kids activities like Dala horse painting starting at 4pm. Then at 6pm we’ll light a large bonfire to symbolically welcome the warmth and brightness of the new season.
Whether it’s the crackling of the flames, the laughter of children, or the sight of spring’s first blooms, Valborg is a time to reconnect with nature, with neighbors, and with the hopeful energy of the season.
Come celebrate spring the Nordic way—everyone is welcome!
